Subsequently, transitioned into in-house local government work and operated at a senior level as Head of Legal Service and fulfilling Monitoring Officer duties.

Outside of the practice Sunny is a Councillor for Birstall Parish Council. Sunny enjoys spending time with family and friends. In his spare time he is an avid cricket supporter, enjoys MMA, boxing and is an avid Leicester City Football Club supporter.
